Run Cycle Tutorial - with Feedback!

This is an animation course. This tutorial will show you how to animate a classic side view run cycle, with feedback from me, Sykosan. You will learn how to create effective poses for a realistic walk, by breaking down the process into simple steps. For your feedback, you have a choice between "Recorded Feedback" and "Live Q&A Feedback".

• A two-part video tutorial, with two assignments to complete. 📝

• Two feedback sessions of 20 minutes max each. ⏳
• Live sessions will also be recorded and available for download. ⬇️

• You are free to animate your own character design.

📅 Schedule

You can watch the videos and do the assignments in your own time. Then, when you're ready you can send over your work to me.

• If you booked a recorded feedback, I will aim to send a video within 48 hours. 🕒
• If you booked a live Q&A feedback, then you will be able to book a session at your convenience with a link that I will provide. 📅

🖥️ Equipment

You can use any app you want for the assignments, but the demonstrations will be done in Photoshop.

You'll need to export either GIF, MP4, or MOV files for review, but I can also open the following files: Photoshop, Krita, Clip Studio or Toon Boom.

🧑‍🎓 Who is this for? 

For intermediate artists who want to increase their skills but also know the basics of animation. This is not a session for total beginners. The principles of this tutorial can also be applied to 3D animation.

🧑‍🎨 Who is Sykosan? 

My name is Sykosan and I have been an independent  illustrator and animator for 20 years. My clients include Marvel, Katy Perry, Netflix, Capcom, Supercell, the BBC and more. I have been teaching illustration and animation since 2020.
